About

Dear friend,

Hi. My name is Neil Lemons. I’m a 29 year-old single guy without children, currently living in Dallas, Texas. I used to write in personal blogs off and on for seven years (since 2001), until one day I decided to stop building other people’s content and focus my own brand. I started this site as a  Inbound Marketing blog for  business owners, bloggers, and Internet entrepreneurs. From time-to-time I write Texas adventure/travel stories, as well as posts on things to do in Dallas, the city where I live. For years I’ve been apart of several business organizations and industry groups for fun and profit as well as Travel Meetups groups. I like to network with other bloggers in the Dallas area to help build value for their personal brands and audiences through guest posting and getting more traffic to their blogs. If you are a blogger and have an existing audience, please contact me to see what content ideas I can offer you.

What makes me an Internet Marketing Expert?

I have studied online marketing methods since 2004, and offline marketing and advertising methods since 1999. I started Internet Marketing Consulting in Dallas in 2006. Before offering my services to the public, I wanted to make sure I had an excellent education and understanding of how search engine marketing works. After 50 websites optimized and marketed and over a million dollars in clicks managed through  pay-per-click marketing and five years blogging, I felt it was time to share my expertise.  For almost five years I have worked through agencies helping dozens of clients behind-the-scenes to help create exposure, traffic, leads, and sales through major search engines like Google, Yahoo!, and MSN (BING). I’ve  also been involved in Social Media sites since 2001, networking, promoting and building community on : Livejournal, MySpace, Friendster, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Tumblr, and others. My background is in copywriting, advertising, marketing, and sales, and I have been learning traditional SEO and SEM tactics since 2004 and implementing pay-per-click marketing campaigns, and organic SEO programs with clients in many different verticals including financial, B2B, non-profit, medical, and educational professionally since 2005. Under the employment of LevelTen Interactive I serviced client names such as Comedy Defensive Driving School®, AT&T, National Breast Cancer Foundation, Texas Teachers of Tomorrow, and many others. Under my own consulting I’ve done work for Feed The Children, CURE International, Fellowship of the Christians and Jews, as well as many other clients.

After working for a top Interactive agency in Dallas for almost four years, I decided to begin another journey working for a start-up which has used social media to propel their business into stardom. Currently I am the Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Strategist/Accounts Supervisor for a Social Media Marketing and Dallas website design company The Marketing Zen Group. Marketing Zen Group CEO Shama Kabani started her career as a education consultant, and after recognizing a need she parlayed that career into an online marketing company. Famous for her Facebook Marketing expertise, she started The Marketing Zen Group which services national accounts and one Dallas client.

Here is a list of some of my personal industry-related accomplishments:

  • Achieved AdWords Qualified Professional status in 2007.
  • Trained two others in AdWords to help company achieve AdWords Qualified Company status in 2007.
  • Member & Ongoing Contributer to SEOChat Forums, Digital Point, WebProWorld, Webmaster World, V7N, Search Engine Round Table, Crea8asite, Search Engine Watch and others.
  • Published dozens of blog articles on SEO, SEM, and marketing principles.
  • Have helped more than two dozen companies in several business verticals generate 1000s of leads and make millions of dollars (no exaggeration) using Internet Marketing while at my current company.

My dream and goal is to create self-sustaining residual income business systems using my Internet Marketing skills which will pay me while I sleep and fund my world travel adventures. I’ve had this goal for years, but last year when I went on a Panama vacation, I discovered more reasons to accelerate my actions. In a very 4-Hour Workweek fashion, I want to create info-products which change people’s lives and teach valuable skills. For now I am using my Internet Marketing day job and the challenges and learning opportunities of new clients and businesses to work my way closer and closer to this goal.

Thanks for your time,

Neil Lemons
