About

Dear friend,

Hi. My name is Neil Lemons. I’m a 31 year-old single guy without children, currently living in Dallas, Texas. I previously  wrote in personal blogs off and on for seven years (since 2001), until one day I decided to stop building other people’s content and focus my own brand. I started this site as an Inbound Marketing blog for business owners, bloggers, and Internet entrepreneurs.  From time to time I consult for small-and-medium-sized businesses on local SEO, Social Media, SEM, PR, content strategies, and other Internet Marketing strategies for attracting customers and clients from online channels. I am the Co-Founder & Editor of a hyper-local online arts and entertainment publication called ILiveInDallas.com. As of January 2012, the website receives around 38,000 visitors a month and has over 25 volunteer contributors.

On top of all this, I have a day job I love working for PFSweb, an End-to-End eCommerce & product fulfillment company for large brands such as P&G eStore, Lucky Brand Jeans, Roots International, and other luxury apparel and consumer packaged good clients.

What makes me an Internet Marketing Expert?

I have studied online marketing methods since 2004, and offline marketing and advertising methods since 1999. I started Internet Marketing Consulting in Dallas shortly after I started working for a local well-agency. Before offering my services to the public, I wanted to make sure I had an excellent education and understanding of how search engine marketing works. After three years of study, 50 websites optimized, five years blogging, and a few million dollars in clicks managed through  pay-per-click marketing by 2008, I felt it was time to share my expertise.

For six years I have worked through agencies helping dozens of clients behind-the-scenes to help create exposure, traffic, leads, and sales through major search engines like Google, Yahoo!, and Bing using SEO, SEM, blogging, online PR, and other lead generation techniques.

Social Media Marketing Strategy

I’ve  also been involved in Social Media sites since 2001, networking, promoting and building community on : Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, Gowalla, Livejournal, MySpace, Friendster, YouTube, Tumblr, and others.

My background is in direct response copywriting, advertising, psychology, marketing, and sales. I have implemented pay-per-click marketing campaigns, and organic SEO programs with clients in many different verticals including financial, B2B, non-profit, luxury apparel, medical, and education.

Internet Marketing Services Clients

Under the employment of LevelTen Interactive I serviced client names such as Comedy Defensive Driving School®, AT&T, National Breast Cancer Foundation, Texas Teachers of Tomorrow, Dr. Wade (“One-on-One”) Barker, and many others. Under my own consulting I’ve done work for Feed The Children, CURE International, Fellowship of the Christians and Jews, as well as many other clients. You can see logos of more notable past and present Internet Marketing Services clients here.

Here is a list of some of my personal industry-related accomplishments:

  • 2010-2011 Board Member of the DFW Search Engine Marketing Association
  • Achieved AdWords Qualified Professional status in 2007
  • Trained over two dozen people in AdWords
  • Helped achieve AdWords Qualified Company status in 2007
  • Member & Ongoing Contributor to SEOChat Forums, Digital Point, WebProWorld, Webmaster World, V7N, Search Engine Round Table, Crea8asite, Search Engine Watch and others
  • Published dozens of  highly-read blog articles on SEO, SEM, and marketing principles
  • Have helped more than two dozen companies in several business verticals generate 1000s of leads and make millions of dollars (no exaggeration) using Internet Marketing
  • Mentored dozens of  bloggers & those seeking SEO and SEM job skills

My dream and goal is to create self-sustaining residual income business systems using my Internet Marketing skills which will pay me while I sleep and fund my world travel adventures. I’ve had this goal for years, but two years ago when I went on a Panama vacation, I discovered more reasons to accelerate my actions. In a very Tim Ferriss or Rolf Potts fashion, I want to create info-products which change people’s lives and teach valuable skills. For now I am using my Internet Marketing day job and the challenges and learning opportunities of new clients and businesses to work my way closer and closer to this goal.

Thanks for your time,

Neil Lemons
